The presence of harmful bacteria such as E.Coli, Salmonella and Listeria, and the resulting cross contamination is one of the biggest problems associated with the fish industry.

Microban antibacterial protection is designed to complement normal cleaning processes by continuously inhibiting growth of harmful bacteria between cleaning. It is built-in to the food grade polypropylene used to make the Cool Blue boxes and will not wash off or wear away. It offers continuous protection by using a process that is EU approved for safe food contact.

		This added protection is, and will continue to be, unique to fish boxes supplied by the Cool Blue Box Company.
