• As Cool Blue Box is a completely reusable product, the need to produce new boxes is greatly reduced thus saving on demand for raw materials and energy used in the production process. Compare this against the existing polystyrene solution which is produced, used once and then discarded. The effect of this, with possibly the most environmental impact, is these discarded polystyrene boxes then end up in landfills.
• The Cool Blue Box requires less ice, again saving energy on the production of the ice and also reducing the amount of contaminated water that has to be correctly disposed of after the ice melts.
